Let these poems remind you that returning home is as straightforward as tuning out the world around you, going inward, and coming back to yourself.
The Loving Voice Knows the Way
I closed my eyes
and shut my ears
to the voices I’ve heard
all these years.
And in the silence
I finally found
a quiet voice
beneath the sound.
It told me who
I really am—
and assured me
I could try again.
When I thought I should
just lie down and die,
it convinced me that
I was meant to fly.
So I don’t care
what the critics say
because this loving voice
knows the way.
Never Be Alone
Your own soul
is the closest friend
you’ll ever know.
This life gives us many things,
but your soul is the friend
who sticks closer
than even your own siblings.
You might feel like
you are out here on your own,
but a connection to your own soul
means you’ll never be alone.
New Day, Every Day
My life begins now.
I leave the shadow behind.
I step towards the sun.

Beautiful prose!
If I may say, this reminded me of March Comes in Like a Lion - an anime I like. It might speak to you also if you've not seen it yet. I won't spoil anything!
"New Day, Every Day" - absolutely! Sometimes the only real question that needs an answer is, shall we take one more step?
These are wonderful Kristina!✨️
