Kristina, this was such a beautifully spacious collection—each poem feels like another wall quietly coming down.

What I particularly enjoyed is the progression across the four pieces. “Space” begins with the need to step away from thoughts that have become confining; “Let the Walls Come Down” challenges the rigidity we sometimes mistake for safety; and then “Acquainted With Myself” turns inward, toward the discovery of what remains when those accumulated layers are stripped away.

The line “until I found me underneath” stayed with me. There is something wonderfully simple yet profound in the idea that perhaps self-discovery is not always about constructing a new identity, but removing what has accumulated until we recognise what was already there.

And then “Drifting Through Space” feels almost like the liberation that follows—the walls are gone, the past no longer defines the boundaries, and suddenly the galaxies themselves become a blank canvas. I loved that movement from being “trapped in place” at the beginning to drifting freely through possibility at the end.

I write at The Reflective State, where I often find myself exploring similar territories of introspection, stillness, and what we discover when we step away from the noise long enough to meet ourselves. Your collection particularly reminded me of my piece Quiet Solitude. If curiosity ever brings you my way, I think you might enjoy it—and I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.

Beautiful, Kristina. I especially loved “Acquainted With Myself.” There’s something so powerful about peeling back all those old layers and finding yourself underneath. 💛
